Duck hunters rescued from Mississippi after boat capsizes near Brownsville

A party of duck hunters was rescued from the Mississippi at Brownsville on Saturday, after their boat reportedly capsized.

Unofficial reports indicate that up to a dozen people were brought to shore safely at Wildcat Park, and everyone was accounted for.

Rescue boats. a fire truck, and an ambulance went to the landing following the late afternoon call.

The Houston County sheriff’s office is investigating the situation.
