Tonight’s the last chance for Rotary Lights — and to donate — at Riverside Park

Published

on

Twenty-six years of Rotary Lights is almost in the books.

The Riverside Park lighting display opens at 5 p.m. and will remain open an hour into the New Year, shutting down at 1 a.m. Friday.

There is no charge for visiting, but cash or perishable food donations are encouraged.

For those wishing to drive, the only way to enter is to come south down Copeland Avenue and take a right on Second Street. Police will be directing traffic.

Donation drop-offs can be found as you leave the park. For those walking in, there is a donation spot right at the entrance on State Street and throughout the park.

While the lights display will close, the skating rink will remain open. Skates, however, will not be provided this season.
