La Crosse adds 69 COVID-19 cases, Winona reports death for 2nd consecutive day
For the second consecutive day, Winona County reported a COVID-19 death, while La Crosse County added another 69 cases Sunday of the virus.
La Crosse is now averaging 56.9 cases a day the past week. A month ago, that average was 97, which included a day with 191 cases.
La Crosse now has a total of 10,229 cases. Winona added 31 cases and has a total of 3,617.
The death was the 45th in the county — 15 since Dec. 1.
Winona is averaging 14.7 cases a day the past week. A month ago, that average was 47.
Houston County added two cases Sunday, and is averaging 6.6 a day the past week. The county was averaging 24 cases a day a month ago.

Minnesota: 420,544 cases, 22,095 hospitalizations, 5,430 deaths
Iowa: 284,716 cases, 3,946 deaths
Statewide, Wisconsin added 2,446 cases, 80 hospitalizations and five deaths Sunday.
