Missing Juneau County Man found in a vehicle submerged in Lemonweir River

A 21-year-old Juneau County man who was missing since Saturday night has been found deceased in his vehicle.

The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office said Garret Georgeson’s car was found submerged in the Lemonweir River in Juneau County.

His mother, Melissa Georgeson, shared the news Monday morning, saying, “I cannot thank everyone enough for sharing my posts, offering kind words, and actively searching for my oldest child. There are no words.”

Georgeson’s family filed a missing person report Saturday. The Sheriff’s Office said they believed he left Randall’s Uptown Bar in Mauston around 2:42 a.m.

The incident is still under investigation.
