Lori Anne Holton is charged with kidnapping, physical abuse, false imprisonment and strangulation.

A criminal complaint says the 56-year-old Holton persuaded the male victim, who’s over 60, to stay in his room to avoid being targeted by criminals and by threatening to torture and kill him if he ever tried to leave.

Police say the man was confined to his room between late June and early September of last year. During a five-day period Holton reportedly hit him more than 100 times, choked and tased him, and held a knife to his throat. She also was stealing money and property from him.

Holton was arrested just this week.  Her bond is set at $25,000 cash, to keep her from leaving the area.
