Woman shot to death in Buffalo County, man arrested
A fatal shooting Sunday night in Buffalo County has led to one arrest.
A man is facing charges after calling county dispatch around 9 p.m. and saying he had shot and killed a woman at a house near Nelson.
Officers found a woman dead in the house, and the man who placed the phone call was there, along with a teenager who was not harmed.
The shooting is considered an isolated incident.
Pepin County and the State Patrol are among the agencies assisting in the investigation.
