“Fixes” not needed for Wisconsin election system

Despite the challenges of voting during a pandemic, the 2020 presidential election was, according to experts, the most secure election in the nation’s history. People voted in record numbers. Claim after claim of widespread election fraud was rejected by the courts. There were counts, recounts, a certification of the vote, and an acceptance of the vote count by the Electoral College. But still, some in Wisconsin think changes are needed to improve the Wisconsin election system. They want to fix what isn’t broken, primarily by making it harder for people to cast a ballot. Among the ideas to be considered by the Wisconsin Legislature are making it harder to vote by absentee ballot by banning the use of drop boxes for those voting absentee. They plan to restrict the number of people who are considered indefinitely confined, and therefore not required to show a photo ID. They could also try to do away with same-day voter registration at the polls. All of this in an attempt to “fix” some fraud that never existed. Voters turned out in record numbers in the last election. It was the most monitored election in our history. The outcome is not in doubt. We don’t need the Wisconsin Legislature to fix something that clearly isn’t broken.

We need stronger election laws. We didn’t follow the ones we have now. Wisconsin requires you request a ballot. Wisconsin requires you have a witness sign your mail in ballot. Shut in ballots were counted at an enormous rate over the last election. You can count all you want it wont change. Count following Wisconsin Election laws see what the count is then !! Pennsylvania was even worse. I have no faith in our election process.

Not broken? What planet are you living on? Even in small town Medary there was corruption. My neighbor, and a hard code Dem went to vote only to find out she was incapacitated and had already requested and submitted her vote. Standing at the polls, she stated: “Do I look incapacitated?”

If this happens in a very small precinct, just imagine Milwaukee, where the voting rate was astronomical. C’Mon, Man. All our votes doesn’t count any more if this continues.
