La Crosse adds 41 COVID-19 cases, averaging 51 a day; only one other surrounding county in double digits
Another 41 cases of COVID-19 in La Crosse County reported Wednesday.
The county is averaging 51.0 cases a day the past week. Last week, that average was 42.
The state also reported Wednesday that 784 county residents were vaccinated, bringing the total in La Crosse to 17,103. To see all Wisconsin vaccine data, including by county, click here.
No deaths in surrounding counties.

Statewide, cases, hospitalizations and deaths continue to decrease in Wisconsin and Minnesota, but only cases are decreasing in Iowa.
Deaths in Iowa are now over four times as high as a week ago. The state reported 250 deaths Sunday with little explanation. And, after 18 reported deaths the past two days, there were 56 more reported Wednesday. Hospitalizations in the state also increased slightly.
Minnesota reported under 1,000 cases for the fourth consecutive day, which hasn’t happened since mid-September.
