West Salem Police investigating resident death
The West Salem Police Department is in the middle of an ongoing investigation after finding a person dead Friday night.
Officers responded to a residence at 6:59 p.m. where they found the individual. Chief of Police Jeremy Randall said they cannot discuss any further details at this time.
“Please understand that at no time was the public in any danger,” Chief Randall said. “If anything further develops from this investigation, another press release will be issued to inform the public of the findings.”
The Wisconsin Department of Justice State Crime Laboratory and Wisconsin State Patrol helped with the initial investigation.
