During pandemic, Wedding World still attracts brides to La Crosse Center
In a world of phone calls and Zoom meetings, a weekend event at the La Crosse Center Sunday brought back the personal touch of business.
The annual Z-93 Wedding World returned to the Center on Sunday, with vendors and wedding parties working together to plan the perfect day.
Brittany Styles, the manager at Mid-West Family Entertainment, said they’ve been working with wedding parties to adapt in the pandemic.
Wedding World did add safety measures to follow COVID-19 protocols, such as limiting the attendance at any one time to 250 people. Brides were allowed to bring up to three guests, and they signed up in advance for a time to attend. We have information about how to get free tickets at WIZM news dot com.
Vendors who filled the South Hall of the La Crosse Center naturally included bridal shops, caterers, and entertainment companies.
The wedding event came one day after the WIAA boys basketball tournament wrapped up three days of games at the civic center.
