Scattered outages in south La Crosse; hundreds affected
About one thousand people in south La Crosse have lost electricity this morning, from scattered outages, reported around 8 a.m.
Xcel Energy says the largest outage is along Losey Boulevard, south of Ward Avenue.
Other blackouts are reported near Gundersen on South Avenue, near Pammel Creek off Mormon Coulee Road, and about 3 blocks east of Mayo.
At one point, Xcel estimated that the outages affected more than 13-hundred customers.
