La Crosse nearing 20% fully vaccinated, while Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa are around 15-16%
Nearly 20 percent of La Crosse County has been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
The county is at 19.7 percent (23,302) fully inoculated, while 31.2 percent (36,875) have gotten at least the first shot through Thursday.
Statewide, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa are fairly even, between 15.3-16.6 percent fully vaccinated. Here’s how they compare:

La Crosse added 12 cases Thursday and is now averaging 7.7 cases a day over the past week. Last week, that average was 6.6.
Statewide, Wisconsin and Iowa are doing quite a bit better with cases when compared to Minnesota, which had 1,857 on Thursday.
Wisconsin is averaging 409 a day over the past week, while Iowa’s at 554. Minnesota’s average for the past seven days is 1,287. Here are Thursday’s cases, hospitalizations and deaths statewide:
