Drug trafficking charges have been filed against a La Crosse woman, following an arrest this week.

Anna Zierfus is accused of dealing meth to an informant at her north La Crosse home last December.

Police say Zierfus’s 1-year-old child was nearby when the drug deal took place.

Zierfus also reportedly has been found carrying meth twice in the past month.  Her bond has been set at $1,000 cash.

In other court cases, a public defender is being appointed for a La Crosse man who’s accused of repeated sexual assaults against the same child.

Vanin McKinnon was charged earlier this month with assaulting a young girl many times over a five-year period.  The assaults allegedly began in 2008.
