Summer is — finally — right around the corner.

We can already hear the kids screaming, “I’m bored!”

Luckily, the La Crosse Parks and Recreation Department released its Summer Activity Guide with the All City signup set up for Saturday morning.

Parks and Rec. isn’t just for the kids. Assistant director Kerry Gloede said the guide has programs for adults, including seniors, as well.

“The youth programs will be in person, so our department’s really excited to get back to programming and providing community events,” Gloede said.

The guide also provides info about summer camps and pools, which were closed last summer.

The All City Sign Up is scheduled from 7-10 a.m. Saturday by phone or online only. Call 608-789-7533 or 608-789-8640 with any questions or need help getting registered.

If residents are unable to make that day, the online option will be available continuously Saturday morning or call the office during business hours starting Monday.

Residents can look online now and see what’s being offered and plan your summer before they sign up opens.
