Children’s Museum of La Crosse sets summer opening date
When the Children’s Museum of La Crosse reopens in June, things will be different but there will be plenty of learning and fun…rolled into one!
The kids have been antsy, and parents probably, too.
The big day for the reopening of the Children’s Museum of La Crosse is almost here.
Starting June 3, museum downtown will be open with pre-scheduled visits only. The staff is looking forward to people coming to play again.
The museum’s marketing/development director, Leanne Poellinger said they want to start out with 25% capacity, or less, to control the number of people in the museum. Masks will also be required.
“It’s just another one of those precautions that we just want to be as safe and smart as we can as we reopen,” she told La Crosse Talk host Mike Hayes on WIZM. “Hopefully we won’t have to do that forever but at least probably through the summer.”
Museum hours will be 9 a.m.-noon, 1-5 p.m. Thursdays-Sunday. The hour break will be used for cleaning.
