After being shut down by COVID-19 last year, Memorial Day ceremonies in the La Crosse area generally will get back to normal for 2021.

The traditional parade in La Crosse returns, after being called off last May. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 6th and King, and will proceed on King to West Avenue, and then to La Crosse Street where the parade participants will gather at Oak Grove Cemetery for an observance.

Onalaska, West Salem, and Holmen also have Monday morning parades.

The Riverside Park observance will begin at 11:15 am at the bandshell.

Other services in the area include events at the Campbell Cemetery, Woodlawn, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, the Catholic and Jewish Cemeteries, and Mormon Coulee Memorial Park.
