A traffic stop in Colorado leads to a drug search in the town of Campbell.

Last week, a La Crosse driver, Austen Schalow, was pulled over in Mesa County, Colorado, on a tip from La Crosse sheriff’s officers.  A criminal complaint says officers found a large amount of marijuana in Schalow’s vehicle.

Police in La Crosse had seen a Snapchat posting, suggesting that Schalow had picked up drugs in California and was bringing them back to Wisconsin.

Later that day, Schalow’s home was searched, and officers found marijuana, pills, and plastic bags filled with cocaine.  Schalow was booked in the La Crosse jail on Saturday.

He’s charged with drug trafficking, dealing in pot, cocaine, and pills.
