A driver from Brownsville pleads “not guilty” to a vehicular homicide charge.

Molly Weis entered the plea before Judge Elliott Levine on Friday.

Weis was charged in late June with causing a fatal crash a year ago near the La Crosse airport, when she allegedly ran a stop sign at high speed and collided with a delivery truck.

The truck overturned, and driver Brian Belling died of his injuries a week after the accident.

Police say Weis was over the speed limit, made a U-turn, and did not stop for a stop sign before hitting Belling’s truck.
