Driver facing several charges after hitting Coon Valley house
The South Dakota man accused of slamming his SUV into a Coon Valley house on the 4th of July is facing four separate traffic counts in Vernon County.
Garhardt Waldner is scheduled to appear before a judge on August 3rd on those traffic citations.
The 64-year-old Waldner went off Central Avenue in Coon Valley early Sunday morning, and drove into the side of a building, before leaving the scene.
Police accuse him of reckless driving, hit and run, failure to keep his vehicle under control, and driving after allegedly inhaling nitrous oxide.
