A North Dakota woman tells police she was trying to drive home to Fargo on I-90 after visiting friends in Austin, Minnesota, but ended up going in the wrong direction.

She was still going in the wrong direction when she crossed the Mississippi into La Crosse County, and got the attention of a town of Campbell police officer…who caught her going 50 miles over the speed limit.

The woman went even faster when the cop started following her.

Eventually, Amy Torres got up to 137 miles an hour, and was turned around on the interstate, heading back toward Fargo…when she ran out of gas on the interstate bridge at Dresbach.

Torres has now been charged in La Crosse County with fleeing an officer, and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
