The triple-homicide that took place late last week in La Crosse County did happen at the Milestone Materials quarry.

So the victims weren’t killed somewhere else and dumped at the quarry, just north of West Salem, where someone arriving for work early Friday, discovered the bodies and called 911 at 4:57 a.m.

Still no word on how they were killed. Photos may be released Monday.

Investigators believe the three did have some type of relationship with their killer or killers, according to a statement Sunday by La Crosse County Sheriff Jeff Wolf.

Interviews in multiple states are being conducted to determine that relationship. But there are no ties to the victims and Milestone Materials or the workers there.

Names were released Saturday. The victims are:

  • Peng Lor, 24
  • Trevor J. Maloney, 23
  • Nemo Yang, 24

All three have resided in the La Crosse area, but the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office said they had no recent permanent addresses.
