Mindoro driver arrested after high-speed chase

A high-speed chase through three counties leads to the arrest of a man from Mindoro. 

Twenty-three-year-old Frederick Clements reportedly led police on a chase when they tried to pull him over for speeding on Highway 35 in Pepin County on Tuesday.  Clements was clocked at 110 miles an hour at one point. 

The pursuit went into Trempealeau and Buffalo Counties, and lasted for about 30 miles before police used stop sticks to deflate the tires on the man’s truck. 

Clements is facing charges in Pepin County.
