Low-speed chase outside Ho-Chunk Casino ends with driver hitting a bush

A low-speed chase ends thanks to a large bush.

Driving with a suspended license was the charge in Jackson County against a man arrested after a low-speed chase Wednesday night.

Christopher Martin of Black River Falls reportedly fled from the Ho-Chunk casino when a sheriff’s officer approached him there, in connection with a previous warrant.

Martin fled in a vehicle, and was followed at low speed. He drove into a private yard, where his car was immobilized by a large bush. 

The 42-year-old Martin was already facing charges of bail jumping and fleeing an officer.
