SUNDAY: DACA fundraiser at Mexcal for Western Tech students

A fundraiser Sunday for DACA students at Western Technical College in La Crosse.

La Crosse County Democratic Party chair William Garcia explains the importance of immigrants under DACA in, not just the U.S., but in Wisconsin, in leading up to the fundraiser.

From noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Mexcal Mexican Cuisine (map) will host the DACA Dreaming our Future Fundraising Dinner. Cost $20. Proceeds will go to the DACA scholarship fund at WTC.

Sponsors include the Coulee Region Immigration Task Force, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and the La Crosse County Democratic Party.
