A La Crosse man faces a federal charge of possessing child pornography.

Jeremy Hogenkamp is accused by a federal grand jury of having images of minors in sexually explicit conduct on a laptop computer.

Several area police departments and the FBI took part in the investigation.

The 45-year-old could get up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.

In another federal case, a grand jury is bringing a felony gun possession charge against a Milwaukee man who was seen carrying a weapon in a La Crosse bar this spring.

City police were called to Legends Bar in May, when someone claimed Montanez Miller was carrying a firearm in his pants.

Miller reportedly tried running when officers saw him in a parking lot, but he tripped and fell on a sidewalk.

Miller was found to be carrying two loaded Glock pistols and baggies of marijuana.
