A day after Central High School shut down due to a “serious threat,” La Crosse Police made an arrest in the matter.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday for sending threatening messages to the school over email. Police say he allegedly used another person’s account to send the emails.

The school held extracurricular activities Thursday night and school was back in session Friday.
