A 39-year-old Madison man was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence, which could be his 4th offense.

The Wisconsin State Patrol pulled Patrick McEvilly over for speeding around 7 p.m. on Highway 61 and Arts Drive — about five miles east of Gays Mills — in Crawford County.

A State Trooper observed signs of impairment, according to the report. McEvilly refused a sobriety test and was subsequently arrested.

The State Patrol report does not state how fast McEvilly was driving.
