Town hall on needs of Black community Wed. night with area politicians

A town hall Wednesday with area politicians will discuss the needs of the Black community in the La Crosse area.

US Congressman Ron Kind, Wisconsin state Sen. Brad Pfaff and state Assembly members Jill Billings and Steve Doyle will all be taking part in the conversation, which is set for 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Concordia Ballroom (map) in La Crosse and also virtually.

The town hall is hosted by Hope Restores and the La Crosse County Democratic Party. William Garcia, the party’s chair, will be on WIZM with Mike Hayes on Wednesday morning during La Crosse Talk from 6-9 a.m.
