Holmen High School’s Entrepreneurship Class is readying its holiday store once again.

This year’s store is called Bundled Up — a collaboration between 20 seniors, the store’s goals are to provide a positive shopping atmosphere that spreads holiday cheer, while bringing together the Holmen community and providing opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

The 2021 slogan is “There’s SNOW place like Holmen,” coined by store co-manager Chloe Lichucki.

It has over 20 vendors this year bringing food, clothes, decorations, handmade items and much more from local businesses and community members, even its guidance counselors.

Store co-manager Ben Ertz told Mike Hayes on WIZM that there are five departments that run the store.

“Interactive media, promotions, operations, sales and human resources,” Ertz said. “And then each of those have their own department manager.”

The store plans a soft opening on Dec. 10 but its big grand opening is a day later.

“We’re going to have many events there,” Promotions manager Jaden Carley said. “The Holmen Village president, our principal (will be) speaking, all of us are going to speak, the managers.”

There will also be a performance from Misty’s Dance Unlimited, a silent auction, kid’s sucker pull and a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Each year’s store supports a local individual or family. The 2021 store will support the Nelson family, who unexpectedly lost Ryan this year.

The store will be open to the public Dec. 10-11 and 13-16 inside Holmen High School.

The Dec. 11 grand opening hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weekday hours are 3 p.m. -7 p.m..
