51-year-old arrested in Monroe County for 5th OWI

A 51-year-old man was arrested Monday in Monroe County for what could end up being his fifth drunk-driving offense.

The Tomah Post of the Wisconsin State Patrol arrested the Necedah, Wis., man after he crashed his Ford F-150 around 9:30 p.m.

It was a single-vehicle crash. A state trooper observed signs of impairment but the driver refused a sobriety field test and, therefore, was arrested.
