Mobile Food Pantry open Wed. at new WAFER location in La Crosse
A day after weathering the weather, the WAFER Mobile Food Pantry will be at it again Wednesday.
From 2-4 p.m., the bus will be set up at the new WAFER Food Pantry location at the corner of George and Gillette streets in La Crosse — the old Gordy’s Market location — as sort of an introduction to the new neighborhood.
Despite the snow, the mobile unit was giving food out Tuesday at the Holmen Boys and Girls Club.
