The food court at Valley View Mall will have one less restaurant after Friday.

Coney Island has been at the mall since 1980 — the year Valley View opened. But, its last day there will be Friday — open 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Coney Island owners said their lease is up at the end of the year and they couldn’t come to an arrangement with the mall to extend.

“(We) want to give the biggest THANK YOU to all the wonderful customers who have been loyal, and given us your business and making memories at that location for so many, many years!” Coney Island Station & Kapellas Family posted. “We love you so much!!”

Its 4th Street location is closed for now, but Coney Island remains open at the Village Shopping Center in La Crosse, as well as in Holmen.

Coney Island also encouraged anyone to share stories on its Facebook post here.
