The Logan Middle School will be shut down to in-person learning Thursday and Friday due to a staff shortage.

A letter sent from Principal Amber Erickson to parents said it’s “due to the inability to find staff coverage within our building.”

The exact reason for that coverage, however, wasn’t mentioned.

Any student can get breakfast and lunch, if they are able to get to school. Breakfast from 8-9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-noon.

Students also don’t just get the days off. They’re expected to access their online learning curriculum through, what’s called “Canvas.” But students will not have to be part of video setting.

The school is anticipated to be back to in-person learning Monday.
