Onalaska School Board to meet in closed session to discuss possible disciplinary situation

After the Onalaska School Board will hold a special meeting Thursday, and could convene in closed session.

There, the board could consider “financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par,” according to the agenda.

The meeting is held in a closed session because it could “have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of those being discussed,” if it were discussed in public.

Back in early December, the Onalaska Middle School had to cancel school for the next day because individuals were posting threats to social media. At the time they were referred for criminal charges.

This is the last item on the Thursday special meeting agenda for the Onalaska School Board.
