UPDATE: Two dead from gunshot wounds in La Crosse, considered a murder-suicide
Two people and a dog were found shot dead Wednesday in La Crosse, and police believe it was a murder-suicide, related to domestic violence.
Police officers were sent to the 1000 block of Charles Street around 7:30 p.m.
Officers found “two individuals and (a) dog died from gunshot wounds.”
The shooting suspect is being identified as Jordan Garcia, who turned 26 on Wednesday. Garcia reportedly shot a 25-year-old woman named Allison Rogers, and a dog before killing himself.
Court records indicate that Garcia had criminal cases in more than one Wisconsin county in recent years.
