On Sunday, Mount La Crosse will be the host for YMCA Adapated Ski Day.

Anyone with diverse abilities aged 4 and up can head to the ski hill from 10:15-11:15 a.m. or 12:15-1:15 p.m.

The North American Squirrel Association (NASA) in Onalaska also helped make the event possible with the following equipment.

Youth and adults of all physical and cognitive abilities can use seated bi-skis and mono-skis, as well as standing downhill skis. Seated-skis allow participants with lower extremity and physical disabilities/disorders or minimal balance the opportunity to enjoy downhill skiing.

For more information contact Emily Simmerman, Recreation Therapist at the YMCA by email or call 608-519-5516.
