22-year-old busted with $250,000 worth of meth at Onalaska hotel
About a month after the city of La Crosse Police Department had its biggest meth bust ever, it appears that record was broken over the weekend.
At an Onalaska hotel Saturday, a Kansas man was arrested with over 15 pounds of methamphetamine.
Jimmy Castillo was in La Crosse County court Monday charged with possessions with intent to deliver. The 22-year-old is being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
Street value for the 15.5 pounds of meth is, oddly enough, that same amount of $250,000.
Multiple agencies coordinated on the bust, including the La Crosse and Onalaska police departments, the La Crosse and Trempealeau sheriff’s offices and the town of Campbell police.
