Public being asked to help find missing UW-La Crosse student

A missing University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student has authorities asking the public for help locating him.

Hamud Faal was reported missing on Feb. 21. He is a 25-year-old African-American male that is 6-foot-2, 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Faal was last seen wearing a light blue crew neck sweater, gray jeans, along with black and white Vans tennis shoes, according to an email from UW-L.

It is unclear where he was last seen, but his friends and family have been unable to contact him after several attempts. The La Crosse Police Department has also been unsuccessful in locating him.
