Two days of public input are sought for a new Regional History Center for in La Crosse.

The La Crosse County Historical Society is hosting what are being called “Spark Sessions” on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday’s session is at the Southside Neighborhood Center (map), while Wednesday’s will take place at the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center (map).

The Historical Society will share what needs, priorities and scope of the plan it has already identified through work with the city’s New Museum Task Force.

It will also share the the strategic planning sessions that have been held with FEH Design and the Lord Resource Group.

FEH Design calls them Spark Sessions because the goal is to spark new ideas and understanding of what the museum can be with input from the public.

FEH architects will be on hand to hear and work with the public’s ideas into designs and proposals.

Throughout the day, as drawings are generated, they will be uploaded to the Spark website.
