The suspect in an attack three years ago at Rudy’s Drive-In will appear before a La Crosse judge next week.

Gerald Pemberton is accused of punching an employee outside the La Crosse drive-in, back in September of 2019.  Charges of battery and disorderly conduct were filed against Pemberton at the time, and an arrest warrant was issued.

Court records say Pemberton was arrested in February of this year in Sauk County, and he’s scheduled to be in a La Crosse courtroom on Tuesday.

A security camera at Rudy’s photographed a man punching a restaurant employee in the face early in the morning.  The victim, a maintenance worker, was knocked down and lost a tooth because of that punch.
