Holmen woman suspected of trying to grab officer’s gun, and kicking another officer

A 22-year-old woman from Holmen is charged with battery to a police officer, and trying to disarm another officer, after an incident Monday in the town of Holland. 

Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home to check on Alexis Speckeen, who was drunk and reportedly making suicidal threats. 

Speckeen reportedly tried to pull one deputy’s gun out of his holster. 

When another deputy tried to restrain Speckeen, she allegedly kicked him in the leg.  Her next court date is scheduled at the end of June.
