Police in Onalaska discovered two young women inside a parked car early on Monday.

One was 18, and not wearing clothes.  The other was younger than 18, and turned out to be a missing juvenile from Ohio.

According to a criminal complaint, the 18-year-old, identified as Alexandra Hernandez, drove from her home in Wyoming to pick up the younger girl in Ohio for a visit.  They blew a tire in Wisconsin, which is how they ended up in La Crosse County.

Hernandez is charged with taking the teenager out of her home without the consent of an adult, or interfering with the girl’s custody. She described the juvenile as her girlfriend.

Judge Scott Horne wonders what the parents of both females knew about the situation, and he was surprised when a defense attorney requested a signature bond for Hernandez.

The judge set a cash bond, and Hernandez is expected back in court on Tuesday.
