Oktoberfest La Crosse’s Forks and Corks returns, unveiling 2022 button design, providing $10k in scholarships

A relatively young Oktoberfest USA tradition, that provides scholarships to local high school students, returns next month.

After a two-year hiatus, the 7th Annual Forks and Corks returns June 2, where the 2022 Oktoberfest button design will be unveiled.

Through the Gemütlichkeit Foundation, the event will help fund nine $1,000 scholarships to students at Aquinas, Bangor, Central, Logan, La Crescent, Onalaska, Luther and West Salem, as well as $1,000 to the Miss La Crosse Oktoberfest Scholarship Program.

The event will also include live and silent auctions, along with food and wine pairings.

Tickets are $65. The event takes place from 5-8 p.m. at the Waterfront’s Cargill Room. For more information click here.
