Fourth Fridays offered as a new summertime celebration in downtown La Crosse
Riverside Park in La Crosse has plenty of weekly events to bring people downtown in the summer, like Moon Tunes and other concerts.
Another community event is being launched this June — a once-monthly celebration called “Fourth Fridays.”
Neal Zygarlicke, the CEO of the La Crosse Chamber of Commerce, said Thursday the original idea was to have the events on the first Friday of the month, like other communities, but other events such as Riverfest conflict with that.
Fourth Fridays will last into September, with the kickoff event happening June 24.
Food vendors, drinks and music will be featured between 3-7 p.m. on those Fridays.
