La Crosse man accused of shooting into homes, garages behind George Street
Bond has been set at $10,000 cash for a 23-year-old La Crosse man accused of firing shots into homes and garages last week in an alley behind George Street.
Dakota Fair faces multiple charges, including reckless endangerment for shooting a handgun on the 1800 block of George Street early June 8, where bullet holes were found in the walls of houses and garages — no one was reported hurt.
Police found about 20 to 30 rounds of ammunition in that area.
Fair was arrested Saturday. He made his first court appearance in the case Monday afternoon. He is a convicted felon, and Judge Elliott Levine denied a defense request to let Fair out of jail on GPS monitoring.
