American Airlines to use larger planes for daily flights on La Crosse-Chicago route

The number of seats available on daily flights between La Crosse and Chicago will go up about 30 percent, later this summer.
Beginning Aug. 16, American Airlines will start using larger jets for its daily service at the La Crosse Airport.
The bigger jets will seat either 65 or 76 passengers.
Current American flights between O’Hare and La Crosse now hold 50 passengers.
An increased demand for those flights is being cited as a reason for the bigger jets coming to La Crosse.
WIZM News previously reported that larger planes will be coming to the La Crosse Airport this summer, as part of a reduction in the number of scheduled airline flights.
