Access to broadband is critical for Wisconsin communities.

Despite receiving $23 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, La Crosse County management made it clear there are no plans investigate or allocate funds for broadband expansion.

County Supervisor Dennis Jacobsen joined the Fact Check with Bill Feehan podcast to discuss the lack of resolutions and how this impacts all of La Crosse County. Feehan is the La Crosse County Republican Party chair.

Those interested in supporting the use of ARPA funding on broadband access in La Crosse County, can contact all 30 La Crosse County Board members by emailing here, or directly contact County Board Chair Monica Kruse at 608-738-9195 or mkruse@lacrossecounty.org.

Fact Check invites you to join the conversation on its Facebook group Fact Check WIZM with Bill Feehan.
