It would have been the 15th Annual Craft Beer Night in 2022, but we won’t bring that up …

The fan favorite sampling event, however, takes place Thursday at the Downtown Festgrounds.

Craft Beer Night will be in the Garden Stage Area with lots of room to move around, sample beverages, and get to know the brewers themselves.

Not only are you able to sample all these regional beverages, CBN is an opportunity to get to know the folks behind the label. Breweries send brewers and other employees to hand out samples and answer any beer geek questions festgoers may have.

The event will have more craft beer vendors than last year.

Alex Lueck told Z93 that there are over 30 regional breweries expected at the event, and three cider vendors.

VIP tickets are sold out for Thursday night’s tasting event, but General Admission tickets are still available. Tickets are $60 and include your 3 day pass to Oktoberfest ($20 value), a commemorative glass, and unlimited access to craft breweries and cider vendors.

VIP entry is at 4 p.m. and General Admission begins at 5 p.m. with the last beer poured a little after 8 p.m.

Last year’s CBN had 300 samplers attend and this year’s maximum is 500 GA tickets. As of last week, Lueck said they were already over 350 tickets purchased.

There will be also be more food vendors this year, right next to the Craft Beer Night area.

Tickets for Oktoberfest’s Craft Beer night can be purchased through their website.
