Tenant’s body found in La Crosse apartment after morning fire
One person has been found dead in a La Crosse apartment that was on fire early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were sent to an apartment building on Cameron Avenue near 8th Street just after 4:30 a.m., where light smoke had been reported. The flames were confined to the apartment.
The tenant was discovered dead inside the unit, and the fire is under investigation.
