Six people facing charges for suspicious death in Jackson County
Foul play is being suspected in the death of a person whose remains were found late last week in Jackson County.
Law officers were searching for someone who had been reported missing last Tuesday. On Friday, they discovered the remains in the town of Manchester, at a home along a county highway.
Four men and two women have been taken to jail as part of the investigation, but no one had been charged yet with causing a death as of early this week.
The remains were found last week on property near Highway 27 in the town of Manchester, during a search for a person reported missing.
At least two of the people arrested are facing weapon charges, along with possession of meth and fentanyl. The six are in the Jackson County jail.
